Vrikshasana (Tree Pose)
Vrikshasana, also known as Tree Pose, is a standing yoga pose that improves balance, strengthens the legs and core, and stretches the hips and inner thighs. To practice the pose, start in a standing position with your feet together. Shift your weight onto your left foot and bring the sole of your right foot to the inner thigh of your left leg. Press your hands together in front of your chest and focus on a point in front of you to help maintain your balance. Hold the pose for several breaths before releasing and repeating on the other side. It is important to engage your core and keep your hips level as you practice the pose.
